I just bought a FART, appreciate the heads up on the sale!

I’d like to hear any recipes y’all are using. No media is a plus

    Thanks in advance

I have the lite, and here in CenTex I have moderately hard water. I do 1/8 tsp of citric acid and a few squirts of AA Wash and Wax in the tumbler. This is after the first rinse with 1/8 tsp washing soda and 1 tsp EDTA that I do by hand in a large jug.

Clusterfrack and some others can link more info, I’m on mobile…

Quarter teaspoon of citric acid powder to start out with, small squirt of car wash soap.

That’s what I use too. Be careful with the citric acid. Too much and the brass is dull. It doesn’t take much at all.

I gave up on the included pins, they cause an ugly dull and grey finish.

I changed over to this media: https://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Dia...aisle_fats_1_i

The result is picture-perfect shiny brass. I only use dishwashing liquid soap, no citric acid or anything else is needed.

    are those things magnetic?
I gave up on pins years ago and just use the cheapest dish or laundry soap I can find (1/4 teaspoon) and about 1/8 teaspoon citric acid and get stupidly shiny brass.
