Really cool. Thanks to everyone for setting me straight.

I actively did the “One handed cock”, since I was a teenager……….but not going to risk screwing up my shoulder, so going to pass with the gun.

But it is way cool, and thanks again for setting me straight.

Like catching an ejected round in mid air, or about 95% of the other crap folks post on YouTube...

why would one spend time practicing to do this in place of something actually useful? Catch your rear sight or optic on your belt, pocket, or whatever and push.

Use to be real easy to do with a 1911 with a light spring in it. Can be done with a Glock but takes too much effort to do it often.

Waaaaay OT, but, Mike Janich, of MBC/Spyderco fame, can inertia open *any* folder. I’ve watched him run a whole table of class attendees’ various folders, and he can open them all. Try as I might, there are still a few in my collection that I can’t open past an unusually strong detent or bias towards close. Each time I try, I need Advil, too.

I thought he mostly flicked them open.

Btw, I'm like you and to add, I can't flick them open either.

It never felt very secure to me anyway.
