    Low profile pic light mount

Does anyone know what the best low profile pic mount for light is. Like a handheld g2x. Needs to go on the top rail and I want it tuck the light down by the hand guard on the right side.

I have a cmr rail and options are limited. Thank you.

Funny - I just saw this and am hopeful.

    https://modlite.com/

ETA: If this works as advertised I'll be trying it on the Beretta 1301 Tac and some AR's.

Since I just noticed the link is to their home page and that will change over time. It's the Modlite PDW350.

I have a few uses for that one.

There are a few options available for the CMR handguards from Arisaka and IWC

I've successfully used both VLTOR and VTAC mounts in the configuration you desire.

Just realized I misread your post. I thought you wanted the light centered on top.

To tuck it, this is another option. A little spendy but solid and robust. I have use a couple.

    VTAC makes a solid mount.

The vtac one looks solid. But places the light too high. I would to have the light tuck down into the rail.

If you're not married to a ring style mount...

You may find the VLTOR a better option then

Alternately, maybe a IWC Thorntail Offset combined with a basic ring mount may provide what you are looking for?

That's getting a little more complex with potentially more weight and screws to loosen. Seems most mounts to tuck a light where you want are either Mlok or Keymod based or designed for a scout style light anymore.
