    I just impulse bought a Tisas PX9 Gen 3 for just over 2 bills, it takes P226 mags, and I have a spare 407C sitting on the shelf.

    Seems like a bad idea to me. Am I missing something? For me its way faster, and more consistent, to keep the head stable, and move the gun.

    Moving more is pretty much the definition of inefficiency.

    I’ve taken and taught a lot of dot classes and we teach the opposite. Don’t move the head. Present the pistol consistently by feel to where the eye sees the dot.

    I know this thread is literally a year old, but just to reply to the title/question....


    My answer is, if the conservative Gunsite Academy has a mounted Dot On the Gunsite Glock 45, then you know dots are officially mainstream. .
