I am comparing the Lyman Pro Series Micrometer Taper Crimp Die (UPC: 011516745545) to the Redding Micrometer Taper Crimp die (part# 31271).
Does anyone have any experience with either of those two dies?
?
I gave the Redding Micrometer Taper Crimp die a try. I still prefer the Dillon taper crimp die. Now the Redding Micrometer Seating die; all day, every day . . .
They seat 9mm bullets so precisely that they can do this at 25 yards . . .
I have Redding dies for 9mm and 45ACP...I use the Lee FCD for both. Recently started loading SWC for 45. Had shaving problems seating. Changed to Hornady seating die and solved all my problems. IMO superior for SWC.
