~7-8 years old. Occasional use.
Crumbled like Bleu Cheese.
Is this a known problem? If so, I missed it.

Ozone? Where was it stored. And did you have it exposed to sunlight or chemicals?

Has to be... But, if I'm not using anything unusual for cleaning, and can't recall ever using anything other than a clean cloth to wipe it down, I'd assume that someone else would have seen a similar failure...
When this was my EDC I carried it with the standard mags, so, I can't blame it on toxic sweat.
Ordered a replacement but would like to figure out what not to do to it..
