The other thing to consider is the G47 MOS slide weighs the same as a G17 Gen5 MOS slide. weight is removed under the MOS plate to offset the added weight of the extended recoil nose ring. Similar to the G34 Gen5 MOS.

Can I just get a slide to replace the G45 Slide?
From Glock ? Probably not.
Like everything else, someone will be parting these out on gun broker or eBay as soon as the hit the market but the slide will cost as much as a blue label gun.
It just kills me how much parted out guns bring. I’ve always figured they were servicing the prohibited 80% frame crowd.

Evidently the G47 is now available for purchase through the GSSF program. I’m not a member and can’t see the list to confirm.

My understanding is that the 47, 20, and 21, all Gen 5 and MOS, have all been displayed by Glock this fall. Apparently marketing didn't get the memo.
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.
