    Beautiful dog too...
Peasants are easy to skin, not sure about ducks as I've never hunted those. I've come across many ducks where the breast was cut out and the rest of the bird left for the coyotes. Not sure if that's a game violation or not but I've seen it.

Smoked duck on the menu? I'll have that. We're doing Christmas dinner at a place that has that on the menu.

Finally got around to my first “hunting” trip last week at a fancy high fence ranch in South TX.

Had a great time with some good folks, even if the hunting part was kinda cheating.

ETA. Sorry for the sideways pic.

I forgot about this thread... My elk from back in September. Limited entry hunt, on my own.

Killed these two three weeks ago while solo camping in the mountains of SW VA.

This was my first fall turkey and was taken at 20yds from a ladder stand of all places. The buck was taken at 5yds from the ground (it was pretty intense). Seems those should be reversed but that's how it was.

Both were taken with a Wicked Ridge crossbow shooting Rage Hypodermic 100gr expandable broadheads. Clean pass through on both. The gobbler was DRT and the buck ran about 50yds down the ridge before piling up.
