My wife's first time to shoot a deer. She made a great shot with the 12.5" 6.8 SBR at 100 yards, 120grn SST did the job well. I'm proud of her!

Picture of a 7pt PA whitetail I shot on opening day last year. Got him with my Remington 7600 .30-06.
Headed out tomorrow for the opening of this year's rifle season.

I ran short on time this season so this little guy committed suicide.
Head shot with Mk 262 Mod 1 , I hit about a inch low from the spine. It was done but still kicking so I gave it a mercy dose from my PX4 Compact. The intersting part is I found the 147gr HST in the hide on the other side of its head.

Called and shot on BLM land near La Cienega NM a month ago.....
All the gory part was on their insides: shot at 40 and 80 yards with 40gr .223 Nosler Ballistic Tips.

I shot this 10 point this morning from 200 yards using my Ruger No. 1 in .270 Winchester (150 grain Hornady loads). It's the biggest deer I've ever killed (205 lbs). Except for the first deer I ever shot at, this was the longest shot I've ever taken. I didn't feel good about the shot when it broke, but everything worked out pretty well.
