    Salvo on KSG and MKA1923

Got a Salvo 12 shipped into my LGS to start the paperwork, but still allowed conjugal visits.

Have a choke adapter on a KSG and ordered a MKA to Saiga adapter and a Salvo to Saiga choke.

The thought being mainly for fun, but theoretical home defense use.

Anyone with a Salvo suppressor? I ordered one as they’ve been discontinued and I didn’t want to miss out.

Your lack of monetary concern is inspiring.

I don't own one, but I've shot guns with them attached before. Let's just say that on a 20" 870 barrel they don't exactly help the balance of the shotgun.

For home defense use I'm sure it will be highly effective at giving you the feeling of what it must have been like to use a Brown Bess as a home defense implement.

Isn't the Salvo modular so you can pare it down to a modest length? Sound reduction will suffer but there must be a happy medium.

I think JCN’s gun budget and my salary are probably about the same number.

    Adapters work

Confirmed that the MKA1919 choke thread pitch works on the MKA 1923

Used a Tom Cole MKA1919 to Saiga adapter.

And then a Saiga to Salvo mount.

If you want the full Brown Bess experience, try the X-Rail. I remember when a dude with way more money than he knew how to spend showed up at a match with this on his gun. Unfortunately for him, he had never shot it fully loaded. Also he weighed maybe 125 lbs, and did not work out. After retrieving it from the table, he had a hard time bringing it up to the targets, and eventually gave up.
