Thread: LEM trigger question

    LEM trigger question

I have a primary P30 in 9 and 40, and recently got a back-up in each caliber. All went back to HK for the TG spring set-up.

As I started working with the two new P30's, I noticed neither trigger felt as good as the ones with many rounds down range. Would it be normal to expect the LEM trigger to improve with use -- as in smoother and lighter?

OK,help me out here. I have a 9mm P30 and was very interested in LEM. I contacted H&K and was told the LEM was not offered for the P30.

I don't think the LEM is a H&K authorized retrofit option for the P30.
If your P30 didn't come from H&K as a LEM, they won't turn it into one.

That is my understanding as well.

That is true, the geometry of the LEM parts are not compatible with the P30 V3 frame, not to mention, different frames. It can be converted with the choice of leaving the decock or having a large hole. I wouldn't recommend a conversion that is not supported by the factory.

Not to drift too far off topic, but what about an HK45C? Can you turn the DA/SA model into an LEM?

Yes, since the HK45c is based off of the USP series and doesnt have a rear-mounted decocker.

I was under the impression this was a LEM set up with a different spring configuration.
