Working diligently to enlarge my group size.
Get a FFL 03 (relatively simple) and a state certificate of eligibility (kind of a pain and needs to be renewed every year) and it becomes possible for us California residents to purchase an out of state curio and relic/50+ year old firearm. Still needs to ship to a regular FFL I believe, but then there's no wait. Pre-1972 covers a lot of these old revolvers, two of the last three links above say "C&R" right in the title line.
Also makes it possible to buy that cool found-on-LGS-shelf C&R while on out of state travel, bring it back, and just file the one silly form with DOJ. No other FFL involved with in-person out of state bring backs or in-state gun show C&R purchases when last checked.

I plan to find a good concealment holster and carry the 5". Maybe the 4" too.
