Good luck. We better see some awesome pics if you win the auction or else we’ll petition LL to unleash the ban hammer. 😂

I think it’s only fair that I receive some sort of “finders fee” on all this....🤷😁

    That is a great assemblage!
Get a FFL 03 (relatively simple) and a state certificate of eligibility (kind of a pain and needs to be renewed every year) and it becomes possible for us California residents to purchase an out of state curio and relic/50+ year old firearm. Still needs to ship to a regular FFL I believe, but then there's no wait. Pre-1972 covers a lot of these old revolvers, two of the last three links above say "C&R" right in the title line.

Also makes it possible to buy that cool found-on-LGS-shelf C&R while on out of state travel, bring it back, and just file the one silly form with DOJ. No other FFL involved with in-person out of state bring backs or in-state gun show C&R purchases when last checked.

Just here to help facilitate, which doesn't take a lot on this forum....

Congratulations Southnarc! That is one classy rare gun. But...I bet it still won't outshoot your M12

Probably not but I got it!

The 2.5” was only apparently done for the Bureau, MSP, and the RCMP.

    Looking forward to getting it!

Okay who’s got some K frame Spegels they’re gonna let me buy off them!

Congrats. I’m jealous. Pretty damn cool K frame. Just don’t forget to post pics so we can all drool over your score.

I plan to find a good concealment holster and carry the 5". Maybe the 4" too.

Thank you so much for the detailed and informative post! I will definitely look into this. I am spending more and more time outside of CA and often do see cool C&R guns for sale while traveling.
