FTR, my 147gr handload is 147gr FP fro Blue Bullets loaded in various cases with 5.0grs of Blue Dot. I call it my "Blue Balls Load". It shots accurately out of my G45s, Shield, 3913, Staccato P, and P226R.

The 147 grain HST has one of the widest meplats of any of the common 147 grain duty loads and I've never had any feeding issues with it in my Glock 19.

The 147 grain HST also happens to be one of the most accurate factory loads that I've tested in my Glock 19 with the original factory barrel. The 10-shot group pictured below was fired from my Glock 19 at a distance of 25 yards using factory loaded 147 grain HSTs. (The nominal cartridge overall length for the factory loaded 147 grain HSTs is 1.125") The group has an extreme spread of 2.05".

I have put 147gr plated, FMJ, and Gold Dots and RA9T through Glocks (factory and aftermarket barrels) with no issues.

    Which generation of Glock 19?

A friend of mine had to send his year-old CZ Orange Shadow back to CZ last month due to the chamber being just a tad too short or tight for the 150 gr Syntech he uses exclusively in competition. Starting roughly two months ago about once every 100 rounds or so he'd get a failure to extract. The brass casing would remain in the chamber even though the slide cycled fully. He tried several different fixes including springs, new CGW extractor, different mags, and none of 'em fixed it. Finally someone noted that supposedly CZ had had some chambers that were cut too short or tight. CZ fixed the issue quickly.

I have successfully run 147gr .flat point plated bullets in my Glocks. Nowadays I use coated 147gr with tite group, also no issues.
Bulk of my reloads have always been flat points.

I used to handload Remington 147gr Golden Saber, using VV 3N37 powder. I shot thousands of these through a Glock 19 with zero stoppages. I found 147gr Golden Saber to be a very accurate bullet.

Nowadays I handload 124gr FMJ with Unique powder and call it good.

No problem with the several thousand 147g AE and Fenix Ammo in my P-07/09 series guns.

I have a few thousand RMR 147 Matchwinners I've been tinkering with, using WSF and multiple Gen5 Glocks. I'd have to go look at my notes to get the OAL I settled on, but it is "short" compared to the Hornady 147gr FMJ round nose bullets I was using before. Accuracy seems good so far. Still testing though.

A "plunk test" to see where your OAL should be is a good place to start.
