It’s really sad to see her go and I hope things remain in good shape.

I share the sentiments regarding Prince Charles.

Also I mean… we’re 33 Trillion in debt. Like honestly how many folks can we legitimately look down our noses at for financial mismanagement of government funds as a country?
    God Bless,

A noble and dignified and truly dedicated lady.

    God bless her.

This is basically a rehash of what has already been written, but you can put me on the list of other people here who gets his hackles raised by the idea of monarchy on a base level. But, I also don’t come from a culture where that’s been a thing for 1,200 years. If I was I might have a different opinion altogether on the matter.

I’m also someone who thinks that she did as good of a job as anyone born into that position this day in age could hope to do. 96 years is a hell of a run for anybody and I wish her God Speed.

There is a lot of merit in recognizing this fact. None of us were born to be monarchs. None of us were born to be heads of state. Some of us may become stateheads through effort or chance.

She was born to be Queen. And though she could have abdicated her throne, she instead chose to serve with grace, dignity, and diplomacy for seventy years.

Most Presidents can't manage to serve with grace, dignity, and diplomacy for 7 years, let alone seventy.
