Crap. Now I need $1200. Anyone want to buy a surly teenager?

I'm afraid the market is saturated at the moment.😁

I’m very interested in this, and you are an evil enabler.

Still waiting to hear reviews from folk I trust, though.

Gotta say, I've always liked HK and Ruger for this. They don't announce it and then say "Good luck finding one" like most brands, they announce and say "oh and we already have them on their way to the stores."

I checked the weight on this, thinking my beloved (super accurate and reliable) LaRue 6.5 Grendel would be lighter. NOPE.

With the splitting up of Remington Arms, I have to wonder if this is based, at least loosely, on the DPMS G2. Ruger may have even hired some of Remington's engineers.

At one point, Remington submitted an upgraded version of the G2 for some military trials. I had always wondered how it did, and if they would offer it commercially. That was before the bankruptcy...

The R10 was allegedly procured by the FBI and DEA for DMR use, which I guess it kinda close to the CSASS's proposed role that they didn't win for the Army trials. Haven't heard much about how the R10s performed.

Like what I'm seeing, but like you, durability on similar sized bolt in 7.62 concerns me.
