    Wilson Combat 160gr .45 SCHP

How does this perform out of Officer/Defender length barrels?

It gets 11.5 penetration out of a 4 inch barrel so it should perform even better out of a defender, right?

Wilson-Combat only indicated testing was done with a 4" barrel. I saw no other tests to reference.
I don't know what "out of a defender" means.
Is the "defender" a person who was shot and the projectile continued through, then out of the person (shoot through)?

Pretty sure they mean a Colt Defender:

Not sure how a shorter barrel would improve performance though (unless it was sarcasm)?
no one sees what's written on the spine of his own autobiography.

The idea is the lower velocity would give less expansion and more penetration. Sometimes that is the case sometimes it's not. No way of knowing without testing.
We could isolate Russia totally from the world and maybe they could apply for membership after 2000 years.

Yeah poster above me was correct, when a round has lower velocity it tends to go go deeper and expand less. This isn’t always the case, but it’s not uncommon with short barrel test that I’ve seen.

And yes it’s a colt defender, similar to a 1911 officers model

Wilson claims 1050 fps from a 4" barrel.

The Barnes bullet tends to penetrate deeper as velocity increases, but the TAC-XP should still be traveling about 1000 fps from a 3" barrel and perform comparably to 4-5" barrel results.
