New "budget friendly" models introduced. The timing is kind of bad as the launch is likely going to be overshadowed by SA's new Parody 1911 DS.

I think this is a good idea. Ditch some of the fancier slide machining and the tritium front sight. Let the purchaser add his own sights or whatever.

That is my main interest, really my main issue with Glock is I don't care for the 'Perfection' of their tactical tupperware.

All the other machining and 'improvements' they offer matter far less than the frame fit.

Yep. I called them last year and asked about selling just the frames. No bueno. Had no plans to do so.
