I love problem solving. It’s fun for me.
The brainstorming part is some of the most fun.
Logic stream of consciousness.
This is kind of how I see it ending up. Compensated G26 slide in a G19 frame. With a red dot of course, but one of my slides is off getting milled.
From a frame standpoint:
G19.2 frame in middle and Gen4 19 left, 26 right.
Conversion looks reasonable. Trim locking block shorter and put front rails in place. Melting the polymer is in my wheelhouse.
But also while I’m waiting, what about extending the 26 grip?
That also seems like an option.
If there were spare Glock grips available, that would be the easy button. But scrap Glock grips are scarce.
Wait, I have a shit ton of OEM P365 slides for donor polymer…
What if I cut and reshaped the bottom of one and fused it to the bottom…
But it’s a little tight and thin for what I need…
What else is out there?
Oh!
P320 grip modules for under 50 bucks…
Ordered… I have a slippery G26.3 that could use some stippling anyway…
