    1911 RDS mount- another option

Has anyone had experience with this product?

My application would be on a 22LR conversion and maybe on a 45ACP for fun/range use. I was thinking of epoxy bedding it to the slide for more rigidity.

I'm also interested in a Bomar based conversion mount as well if some has any suggestions.

No but my buddy just had a very positive experience having a Dan Wesson Specialist cut for a Holosun EPS Carry by NC Engravers.

    Good work and fast turnaround.

That's good info but I don't want to permanently alter these pistols. If it comes down to modifying a slide, I will buy a new slide already cut and fit it to the gun.

An replacement for an adjustable rear might be feasible but dovetail mounts on center fire pistol are all going to be suboptimal.

A company called Neumount used to sell something like this pictured below.

I have one on my 22 pistol and it works great, aside from the height of the red dot.

    Maybe an easier solution...

Here is another brand but no clue how well these work.

I would probably try to find something from EGW before I bought a 15.00 mount off Amazon.
