    What light is this?

    I’m hoping someone here can ID this light for me. It’s some manner of Surefire. Basically trying to see if I can get a different tail cap for it as the one on it currently is momentary only. The only way to get constant on is to twist the end to all the way down, and that just annoys me.

    Yup, SureFire. It’s considered a combat light… that’s why no simple constant on feature.

    These can be converted to clicky operation, if that's what you want. But instead of ruining a perfectly good twisty, I'd buy one of these;

    IIRC the G2XLE has an OEM click tailcap. It might be worth a call to the mothership.

    I had a very old G2 (incandescent) whose twisty switch button tore. SF send me a clicky switch as a free replacement.
