    Vang Comp VCS Micro mount

A few weeks ago I got an email blast from Vang Comp about their new micro mount. Ordered one, got it in, and dropped off the gun and mount to a local gunsmith to tap, thread, and install the mount. Got it home and added a PA red dot I had.

Overall, it feels a hell of a lot like the aridus mount, minus the integral rear sight. My gun has Traklok sights, and can still be cowitnessed with the optic.

I’ll load some up buck and slugs and take it to range this weekend with the short barrel. One day soon, Im gonna put the carlsons long barrel on it, and take it to the trap range and try my hand @ sporting clays with a dot.

Fascinating. Think that this could be modified into a receiver-mounted optics solution for an A5 pattern shotgun?

Are those the Scattergun Tech / Wilson sights or stock Remington?
