I'm actually evaluating a couple right now and will report findings. Been using one of these super cheap items in the range bag with reasonable results.

But for serious work, I use my (ancient) Fluke 87 multimeter. Had mine for over 30 years now. I sure hope I never have to replace it, considering what they go for now...

I finally stepped up and bought the ZTS tester that tests all the batteries I use. https://www.ztsinc.com/mbt1.html

I have the Mini version that I've used successfully for a few years. It's now up for sale for $34 if anyone is interested.

I had to change the battery in my "old" 508t-X1 this past weekend and went to the range today to confirm zero. It started glitching after about 10 rounds, cut off and came back as the circle dot vs dot when I powered it back up. That happened twice so I called it a day. I used a Duracell but had not cleaned the film off the back. I took out the battery, thoroughly cleaned the back, and remounted it. Hopefully it runs tomorrow and it was just the battery and not the sight. In either event I will clean off the bitterant in the future.
