    Trijicon RMR parts content

Technical question on the parts content of a Trijicon Dual Illuminated (Fiber optic / Tritium / no battery), vs a battery powered option. What additional parts does one have over the other, aside from the obvious?

I don't want to imply that simpler is better, solely asking about part content if anyone knows.

The obvious answer is the electronic RMR has a circuit board with various surface mounted components, LED emitter, emitter window, battery contact and battery, with a frequency-matched coating on the lens to enhance the emitter reflection.

The DI RMR has a tritium capsule, fiber optic light conduit, an exposed plastic cover for the light conduit which follows the external frame, and a lens with a different coating.

Both share similar adjustment mechanisms and forged aluminum frames.
