I'm more and more intrigued by the Stack-A-Toe S&W concept.

For those who have experience with them, how does the Apex 'Forward Set Trigger' kit compare to the stock PPQ/PDP/VP9 triggers? Does it reach the level of 'mediocre 1911 trigger?'

Since the M&P has a manual safety, I'd like to leverage that to pursue as light and crisp a trigger as possible fo it.

Ive actually been wondering about this myself. They did this at one time on the Shields too (plugs). I could be wrong but look inside and see whats there. Is it just plastic removal or is it more involved.

    I wish you could install a p320 thumb safety on a m&p

How does the S&W safety lever compare with a P365 safety? I've heard that the P365 safety is suboptimal in that it is positioned too far rearward and lack positive tactile engagement.

    Vastly superior.

1911-like in size, tactile engagement, and positioning.

I find the P365 positioning to be fine, and if anything is has too much engagement both on and off safe when new - I had to tune both of mine slightly (a very easy task.) My only issue is that the levers are a little small (thin) for a holster gun, but they work. I slightly prefer the P365 safety to my M&P safety.

I've had issues with my 1.0 Compact being too easy to swipe off when carrying. Issue rectified with a proper holster( JMCK FTW), but they are still way too easy IMO, with almost no 'click' to either position. They dont flop around or anything, but take almost no effort to disengage.
My .45 M&P is better, but still no where near as positive as a 1911.

    I can pee outside.
My 2.0 had a issue with the safety coming off accidentally, until I molded the kydex of the holster around the safety in the on position.
    Cured all ills.

@Tony Mayer offers an option on his holsters to capture the 2.0 safety.
