    Those types of schools are pretty rare. Lots of schools profess to teach "self defense" and use that as an excuse to deal in complete nonsense. I suppose it might be a good idea to throw up the bat signal to see if @Cecil Burch has done any seminars in thay area...

    Nope. Never been up that way and I can’t recall offhand anyone up that way who has come to any of my Dallas seminars. Probably Jackdog is still the best bet at knowing.

    Both are Carlos Machado Black belts.
    Although Alan Shebaro is now a Combat Base Affiliate under Chris Hauteur.

    Both schools would be excellent.
