I’m thrilled at this great news. OTOH the fact Z and his crew could be operating again in Kabul is not a feel good story.

The drone obviously came from Shangri-La.

I saw this posted today too. the “Siraj leaked his location” comment is in relation to the CIA saying that a ground team verified the hit.

That's cool. I'll just hang out at my bud Karl Stromberg's place. Let's see if those satellites can see me underwater!

With no US personnel in country and the world either preoccupied with either Ukraine or their own economies, there is probably little international fallout from wholesale extermination of these thugs. It may even distract Americans from gas prices and inflation for 8 minutes.

I have no definitive answer. Except to note that a Predator has something like a ~400 nautical mile range (according to Wikipedia, I have no firm knowledge) and the border of Pakistan is about 225nm away from Kabul.

Assuming that any drone assets came from the ground. And weren't released from a loitering "mothership".

We have bombs for that, too. Drop it at the entrance, causes an overpressure throughout the cave system like any explosive would. If you live from that, it then sucks out all the air in a negative pressure wave to feed a giant fireball that spreads through the cave. That's it's real specialty.

So, basically, your lungs get ripped out through your throat and then you get a bit toasty.

That is awful! Awfully awesome that is! Right now, I hope every Terry feels like Key & Peele trying to avoid their wives (the US military) hearing them say "Bitch".

Gotcha. Would the average Afghan feel like we violated our agreement?
