Picked this up today at Green Top just north of Richmond.
Left side nickel is great.
Right side not so much.
Priced accordingly.
This must have laid somewhere for forty years with hardly any rounds through it.

That is an awesome find. Maybe send it to Fords for a re-nickel?
You need a set of T-Grips, BKs or a Pachmyer grip adapters on this thing ASAP!
The blued 3" 10-7 I have was the same but worse, looks like it laid somewhere on its left side for 40 years. I had it parkerized. IMO, yours doesn't look bad enough to refinish. Nice find, looking forward to targets!
Give Flitz metal polish as try, might be surprised.
I got three words; brushed .... hard .... chrome!
The path of least resistance will seldom get you where you need to be.
It'll make a great carry gun. Don't do a thing but put your preferred grips on it.
That is my plan.
Ordering a black BK adapter for it and will test it with two cylinders of 158 grain Remington LHPs. Also needs a paint job on the sights.
Nickel is worse than stainless unaltered for me as far as sights are concerned. Did a quick range session Sunday and the targets reflect my difficulty with the sights.
For four and a half Benjamins, I am pleased.
