Hilton Yam is reporting that he just hit 1,000 rounds through his 4.25 gun. The gun is stock with the exception of the slide stop and extractor. He says he will have additional update video(s) out sometime in December.

I returned my Prodigy 5” to Springfield for a full refund. I was having consistent problems with the gun, sent it to them for a warranty repair, and when they sent it back it still malfunctioned constantly. Piece of junk. I ordered a Staccato shortly after.
@Tokarev
If I wanted to put an arched mainspring housing on the Prodigy, any idea of what donor gun model might fit?
Dawson sells a selection of MSH's
Any government or commander mainspring housing should "fit". That said, 1911 parts typically require a little fitting.
-Seconds Count. Misses Don't-
Didn't Hilton Yam mention this in one of this videos? I'll have to go back and look.
I haven't messed with changing the mainspring housing because I'm happy with the flat. But my guess is that any mainspring housing for a Gen 1 STI would work. Probably best to call someone like Dawson to see if they know.
A standard 1911 housing is not likely to work. At least not without mods. The angle/shape at the bottom of the mainspring housing will likely be different between the 1911 and 1911 DS.

Are the Prodigy and Stacatto P grips about the same size?
Finally got to see a Prodigy in person today and fits my hand well, and I’ve never seen a Stacatto around here.
