Was it mentioned what Chambers charges for the tune-up?
IIRC it will be about $800. I assume there will be a few minor options that will impact price.

I guess it all depends on what Chambers is doing for the tune. And wouldn't the fact that the base gun had been tuned by Chambers give it its own value?

I was guessing under $500 and figured the tasks were:
ream chamber
adjust extractor
fit FPS
maybe fit a link?
maybe clean up the trigger?
no need for refinishing
$1500 for the pistol, $800 in work, $100 for shipping both ways, and time on the bench. It comes too close to the staccato, plus most guys would use staccato mags anyway, so add in the cost of mags.
No need to send the gun to Chambers for that stuff.
Guns aren't $1500 any more. A quick poke on gunbroker shows a number in the $1250 range. Granted that's before shipping and FFL fees, etc.
For mags I'd probably just get Atlas. They seem pretty darned solid.
