BKS, a few photos of my 627 after a range session. I carry at home with Buffalo Bore “Heavy Outdoorsman” 158 grain hard cast 38 +P ammo. Travels around 1100 ft/sec from the snub 627. Have a good one

Has anyone played with River’s Super GP100? How does it compare to the 627?
Fantastic looking pictures of a fine 627.
I have a 327 R8. Don't believe you can go wrong with the 627, they're magnificent guns.
I went for the 2.5 night guard due to weight.
I had TK cut for 9mm as well.
I find these 8 shot S&W .357s unreasonably cool in all forms. From a practical perspective, what's the draw of the over other forms of .357 revolver. My limited understanding is that its quite a bit more gun for one more shot.
This thread could cost me money. If they made them with 3.5” barrels….
Dammit.
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.
Lew Horton, according to the one I had lettered. Total production of 264; mine left the factory in Feb 2007. I didn't give two grand for it, but yeah they seem to hover around 2-3k depending on accoutrements, condition, etc. When you see them, which isn't often.
Shitty pic. Finish is better in person. I think they did a reasonably good job on them. If you want a faux Patton Gun that holds 8 shots instead of 6 that's pretty much it unless they do another run. Low-to-mid 2k is where I'd personally draw the line for picking up another with a lower serial number. YMMV.
If you want one without a hole in the side they made an even smaller run of 27-7s that were pre-lock. 4" instead of 3.5" though. Tack on another kilobuck for those, if you see one. Total production around a hundred, I think.
