Foxtrot Mike Side Charging .223

Has anyone tried out the Foxtrot Mike AR upper in .223? I am not planning on this being a "Hard Use" AR, but something for fun.

I haven't, but I've been tempted. If they put it on a 10.5-11.5" pistol variant, (or a shorter barreled .300BO) I'd buy it. Just don't need another "full length" 5.56mm right now.

I do have the FM9, in a 7"ish variant, and, frankly, it's put the wants for anything else shoulder fired pretty much to bed. I've got several thousand rounds through mine now without a hitch, and it's stupidly accurate. Like .5 MOA from the bench and 100% hits on 6-8" steel standing off hand at 100 yards.
