    That’s not good.

Also there’s enough room that you can recess that pin down a mm beneath the optic cut without interfering on the inside.
I found a roll pin punch and tapped it down. My original XL is well below flush, and easily accessible.

Aftermarket is starting to step up already. +0 basepad, +2 basepad, and Magwell apparently coming soon

I think, for me, this is the best arrangement.

I found a standard set of new 6/8 Sig X-Ray3 sights for $80 and swapped them out. Much better than the tall sights.

I wish they would’ve went with a 16 round flush mag instead. The 17 sticks out quite a bit from the gun imo.

I did the same thing to get my back up irons to just the right height in the optic window. *I*have to have buis. While I trust the Holosun EPS carry optic, it’s never going to be as bombproof as an Aimpoint ACRO. Also, I find while using the Holosun EPS and racking the slide on my Macro or XL slide that has the new optic cut that places the optic farther forward. I find while coming across the front of the optic with my off hand to rack the slide, my thumb is in a much better place and more rearward out of the way of inadvertently hitting the control buttons. As for having to remove the optic maybe once a year for cleaning of the extractor, *to me* it’s just a minor inconvenience, kind of like cleaning under my lawn mower deck once a year. *I*will gladly take a little inconvenience for a buis option. As for a flush fit mag for the Macro grip frame, IMHO, you better hope a mag never becomes stuck in your pistol at the wrong time, because there would be nothing to grab onto to quickly remove it without modding the grip frame or having a wider base plate.

Picked up a macro and installed a 407k. Has anyone had issues with the 407k not sitting flush on the slide? I punched the roll pin down flush, thought that may have been the issue. But there is still a gap at the front of the optic and the slide. I've reinstalled the optic twice with the correct torque specs per holosun, and still no joy. It seems to be holding zero fine, but it doesn't inspire confidence. Contacted holosun will see how they respond.

I didn’t have any issues but I’ve seen this reported by several people on various internet gun groups.

Curious if it is a holosun issue or Sig, or just tolerance stacking issue?
