I realize I've been away for about a month or something - in large part because I have been an actual boat person every spare minute away from work - but did I lose the "derelict boat person" title just because I finally trimmed my beard a bit?

I am still pretty freaking derelict looking.
This is a thread where I built a boat I designed and which I very occasionally update with accounts of using it, which is really fun as long as I'm not driving over logs and blowing up the outboard.

Perhaps titles reset when site supporter status renews? Backgrounds do.

    Plausible but mundane. Freaking mods.

I have the utmost faith in your ability to be derelict in something. It's just that the boat seems to be doing fine.

    Perhaps "Derelict Moto Guzzi Rider"?

The Guzzi is looking rather derelict in the boat photos. Maybe it's time to drain the tank and change all the fluids, then blow the dust off that thing once in awhile.

    Thanks LL!

I did actually drag the bike out today but I just don't have time to do much with it these days. Things should slow down a bit in the fall and I'll give it a bunch of TLC and maybe I can get some use out of it next summer.

I don't if he's a "boat person". I grew up around 'boat people'. Do you know how to use chopsticks, make sandles out of used truck tires and do you own a nail salon? It will take 2 out of 3 to qualify.

I grew up around MSA's kind of boat people and still know how to eat noodle soup with chopsticks. Michelin Pilot Sports give the best traction for sandals.
