    Vulcan Machine Werks replied to my inquiry about the grip module:

    Hello Greg, thanks for reaching out to us. Those are grips that are being manufactured for us. The photo is our pre production aluminum grip. The current production has a round cut out on the sides of the grip where we laser our VMW logo.
