So it seems there's an overall concensus that there's little concern for major damage and it's pretty much superficial. I will pick it up from my FFL and test fire it and if I decide to let it go I will just let you guys here know. Thanks for the offer Willie, I will let you know if I need to take you up on that but the looks don't bother me really and I'd just take off the burr and take a cold blueing to it for protection.
