The muzzle device can make or break the short barreled 5.56 for shooting enjoyment.
The bullpups aren’t as blasty! Something about unburnt powder in the short barrels.
Kind of like 357 magnum out of a 2.5” barrel…
I’ve had both 12.5” and 7.5” AR pistols for years. The 7.5” is a bit of what my Brit friends would call an ASBO, but I’ve never noticed much difference between shooting the 12.5” and a 14.5”. I have a new 11.5” that I’ll be Form 1ing, and a 11.5” MCX upper on order for my Rattler. I really like the 11.5” - 12.5” space.

It’s a Rugged brake for the quick release Razor suppressor.
I was planning on running it suppressed but wanted to try it out unsuppressed… so easy to shoot with the brake, but so obnoxious!!

Nope. No brakes on short 11.5” 5.56 for me. It’s gotta be like shooting one of those clamp-on Mosin Nagant brakes.
