Thread: Indoor Matches

It wasn't indoors, but a club member was a police dispatcher and he got us on the city range. We got some interest from the department and they parked a patrol car on the range one night with all lights going. Wild.

If you can find a place to shoot in low/no light I strongly recommend you give it a try. Each year I shoot two idpa matches the week after daylight savings time goes away. I use a light/laser combined unit. Others use just lights. Most are mounted but a few hold it in their hand. I asked one guy to show me his setup. He found a very short light which he holds between the fingers on his support hand. The short part makes it much easier to keep it from dipping down too far. A couple of tight orings near the back end keep it from slipping out from between his fingers.
