That makes sense. This pistol is the only build I've ever done. I had only bought an Aero Precision AC-15 complete carbine a year or so before this build. CZ pistols are my thing. I never would have built an AR pistol in the first place but my son gave me a complete 300BO upper so I *had to* complete the build lol.
I got the buffer tube off with the brace still on it. The rear takedown detent spring is held in by a set screw so it didn't get mangled or lost while I was taking off the castle nut.
I built the pistol with an Aero Precision Enhanced Pistol Buffer Kit.

The buffer is unmarked. It weighs 84g or 2.95oz. 3.25" long.
The buffer spring is 10.5" in its resting state.
Am I going to be able to reuse the pistol buffer and spring or will I need new parts to go with a carbine buffer tube?
EDIT:
The complete upper I've got is a Sig M400. It's discontinued and I can't find any info on it on the internet.
11" barrel.
Gas block is not adjustable.
Plan on shooting factory 300BO 147gr rounds, not subsonic.
Not suppressed.
I plan on using a carbine RE.
What weight buffer would y'all suggest?
What buffer spring weight/length?
Thanks for everybody's help.
