This I won’t be able to resist. A lightweight 5” is something I’ve wanted for years and years, and I trust Ruger - my 9mm Officers has been a great gun.

HeavyDuty, I saw that and almost bought one. It was either on Buds or GAG. What caught my attention is that it was reasonably priced when compared to other Ruger 1911 models. Under $700 if memory serves me correct.

$575 at Dack Outdoors, $600 to my FFL’s door. Best price I found. The price is surprising to me, too.

Yeah, I had that same thought on price difference. Maybe the Commander is more in demand, but that's just a guess.

I don’t get that, either. There was some discussion on one of the Ruger forums wondering the same. The specs are very similar; I only have a Ruger LW 9mm Officers to compare it against.
