(Embedded video below is the whole hour and a half production.)

The video doesn't come out that great for this guy's run in the tank trap, so if you want to see it, watch some more of the vid. He makes quick work of some pretty gnarly stuff that stops a bunch of other rigs, up until he breaks a hub. But the end of his run is epic. There was about two seconds of starter fluid spray left in the can when Sam crossed the finish line, 30 seconds before the 30-minute time limit. Never give up, never surrender!

You learn a lot from watching these videos. Besides the entertainment there are a lot of examples of what not to do so you don't get stranded in the wilderness. Bought my first kinetic rope and proper winch accessories after watching a bunch.

Yup. I've seen a bunch of winch rigs let go.

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It was the strap that broke. Old, worn, dirty. Clean it after you use it. Keep the grit out of it. When the edges show wear, retire it. Never stand near the line of the cable or strap.

Some pretty fantastic rescues and a great crew. It's been kinda funny watching one video where they pull something off with a high amount of skill and finesse and then another video forget half their gear and are improvising with rocks and barb wire
It's crazy how often they run out of gas. It has become a comedy meme for the channel. The spin off channels are also highly entertaining. Rory of Moab Motorsports aka Trail Mater is the real pro among them. His rig is impressive but his winching skills and trail repair knowledge are more impressive.
