    I didn't see this mentioned on P-F. Probably a better known figure in other circles but I know there are a few M1 Carbine fans here.

    Sorry to hear that. I wish I had picked up his M-1 carbine books when they were more readily available. From what I gather, they are the books to have on the subject.
