I have wood boot grips on my Model 36, but use stock rubber on my 642’s. I decided to throw a pic of my year long knife edc. It’s a Benchmade 940 with CF grips and S90V steel. Don’t even bother with that steel, unless you have diamond sharpening plates.

I ordered some cloth masking tape off Amazon.
Not sticky or slick, feels dry/neutral. Wrapped around the Taurus grip I'm hoping it'll do the trick.
Plus, it'll be handy for Mafia hits.
Tried it out today and found it serviceable.
On my 342, I did a variation of Lost River's idea, using the tape to secure a piece of old belt to the open backstrap of some boot style G10 drips.
The tape allows me to reach smoothly into the pocket, unlike my various rubber based grips.
Whoever created that "blood groove" on the 342 backstrap oughtta be tried in Nuremberg.
405's on my 340 and 342, VZ boot grips on my 351C.
Just ordered a set of these..might not be exactly pocket perfect, but that might have to be rectified.
