    Warranty or SOL?

Any chance Streamlight will replace this under warranty?
6-7 year old TLR-4. Mount split along the rail.

Haven't touched that screw in 2+ years.

Time for a new light, I expect.

There’s always a chance. Contact Streamlight. The worst they can say is no.

Last several experiences with Streamlight CS exceeded expectations.

Agreed. They have had some of the best CS in the industry, in my experience. Granted, this was with a government agency....but not a huge number of lights, and they were old, and frankly we broke some of them. Replaced no questions asked.

They've also been pretty responsive to some equipment/ design specs we had. I'm a fan.

Spoke to Streamlight CS, described the problem and they said it's "very likely" covered under warranty.
Asked me to send them the light and they'd repair or replace it.

    Bueno!

    Circling back... (Like Jenn )....

Sent light to SL on 2-May.
Received replacement (looks new, not refurb, but, hard to be sure) 12-May.
10 total days including a weekend and shipping time both ways.

They were also good about emailing to confirm they received it and when sent a package back to me.
Only minor quibble was not knowing what was sent until I opened the package today... Was it repaired, replaced or sent back broken?

    Overall, a 9.8/10 experience. Excellent.
