I recently bought a Scout Mini Pro for my 1301 shotgun. I’m really happy with it. Bright enough for home defense purposes and the mounting system is great. I had to use the Picatinny adapter for my uses. In the pics below, you can see how closely it sits to the gun. I could have tucked it in even more but didn’t want it touching the barrel. I also didn’t want shadowing from the barrel clamp and to give room for my sling swivel.
I like the setup so much, I’ve been seeing if I could upgrade my 20 year old M600 scout to the Pro style body, but so far, no luck…
