    Planning on starting reloading for .45 once(or if) components start being available again, and was looking at what was out there beyond basic ball.

    I've always been partial to heavy for caliber loadings.
    I'm not @Lost River, but Hodgdon's website has data for plated 250s using Accurate and Ramshot powders, which Hodgdon now distributes.

    The 250 gr is similar to designs like Lymans 452190, but many companies make something similar if you don't cast for yourself. I mention Lymans design because I've had the most experience with it and the LBT designs for 45 ACP. Shown below is my primary 45 ACP bullet, LBTs 230 gr .452 LFN.
