My Amish made cane. Used it when spine went bad for a bit.
I just grip it by the bulb on the top, with the curve on the outside of my grip and the ball in my palm
I got it from https://www.lehmans.com but just looking didn't see any.
I won't lie. After I ordered the shillelagh (which did not disappoint, just in case you're on the fence), I spent waaay too much time looking at cutlasses. If Easton Antique Arms ever lists a reasonably priced original, I'm all in.
I've been on a bit of an impact weapon trip lately, reading up on blackjacks, saps, clubs, and trench maces. I bought the Polish mace and the six flange mace on a whim when my birthday discount came up on Midway. I'm really happy with them so far, though I've yet to smash anything. They don't feel as awkward as I expected, but I've been integrating club bells, maces, and kettlebells into my workouts the past few years. As expensive as it is, I've got the ATC/RMJ trench mace on the way.
The Spetsnaz shovel is for a size comparison.
Every Cold Steel product I have ever bought was an impulse buy... except the "spetsnaz" shovel I got to replace the one I messed up by stripping the powdercoating off the head (it made the handle loose).

757, please post about the Trench Mace when you get it.
Not an impulse buy but I did spend part of the day making a CS Desperado charm with sheath, a devastating 2" OAL.
Interestingly, one of these was at my LGS, among other less impractical things.
