Off-Duty enforcement: The death of Officer Donald Sahota

I used to work for the Clark County Sheriff's office. I helped the deputy that shot Sahota sight in the rifle he used. I am just glad I am retired or that deputy really might have been me. I still can't imagine what Feller is going through, and what Sahota's family is dealing with. This county has seen a lot of tragedy in the last year. We lost a Detective with the SO last summer and now a blue on blue with a city officer lost.

I stopped being a police officer a long time ago, but I would like to offer this link to those of you who are, in the hopes you might absorb what is useful.

We have some second degree connections to this one. It happened a couple hundred yards from good friends, and if the suspect had knocked on their door, they would have been wholly unprepared. Officer Sahota was a friend of a friend.
