I realize that it's not necessary to have a holster for rimfire pistols at Steel Challenge matches but I'd rather walk around with my gun on my hip than have to bag and debag between stages so I made another holster for my 617 and modified the pouch from Revolver Supply Company as a dump pouch for my empties, brass and DS-10 Speed loaders.
I modified my design by added Kydex between the leather so that it's a bit stiffer. I added a tension screw so that the gun is held nice and tight ( I can hold the gun upside down and it won't fall out ) and with just a slight pull I can get the gun out.
This is about the 6th design for this gun and I'm getting there.
