    We saw him at a 4th of July rodeo after his recovery, 60-something years old, just recovered from a deadly illness, and out there taunting bulls.

    My older brother was an amateur Bulldogger and Calf Roper, and my cousins team rope on the PRCA circuit. These pics just brought back all sorts of memories.

    So we're at a rodeo tonight, and in addition to the usual kid's calf scramble they had one for adults. I didn't participate, but caught myself wondering how many calves I could drop with my G17 before everyone else got ahead of me

    My cousin's father (my uncle of course) was the PRCA Bulldogging champion for '75.

    Update: My cousin is very likely going to the National Finals Rodeo.. You can do no better in the professional rodeo cowboy world.
