The gun I count on for self defense stays low round count and low strikes. The springs stay fresh and pins stay in good shape.

Did you know you can break the breech face out of a Glock by dry firing it too much?

Got it. Yes, I knew if a Glock was dry fired an incredible amount the breach face could shatter. I have been seriously thinking of buying another pistol dedicated for carry keeping my current carry pistol for practice and dry fire. The round count and dry fire are adding up. My wife would fully approve of having this second pistol being stored inside the pretty basket on top of our fridge.
